Built by Messrs H.G.Neville & Son, the memorial is a Sicilian marble obelisk on a three stepped plinth, 31 x 31 inches, 8 feet high, with an urn on top, stood on a small square paved area. Originally further from the church and the trees, it was moved when the New Testament Baptist Church and car park were built.
